How to play on your device

Three ways in. Pick the one that matches whatever you are holding.

Any browser

Nothing to install and no account needed. Runs on phone, tablet or desktop — start as a guest.

Talk with Bhutanese people

Live voice chat runs the whole match. Roll, capture, and argue about it in real time, with people playing from across the country, not strangers on the other side of the world.

Mute yourself or drop out of voice at any point. It's never required to play.

Questions people ask

Including the ones with answers you might not want to hear.

Is Poki gambling?

No. Poki is a game of Ludo. Every mode - online matches, private rooms, join-by-code and offline pass-and-play - is free to play.

Coins are an in-game balance you earn by playing and spend entering matches. There is no wagering on outside events, no house edge on a random draw, and no spin to lose on.

Do I need an account to play?

No. Tap “Continue as Guest” and you're in. No email, no phone number. Your Coins, stats and Player ID all belong to that guest account.

You only need a real account (Google or email) if you want to keep your progress when you change phone.

Who makes Poki?

Poki is built in Bhutan by the Poki Games team. If something looks wrong, or you just want to check that you're dealing with the real thing, write to jamphel@nomindbhutan.com or message the WhatsApp number on this site.

Is Poki on the App Store or Google Play yet?

Not yet. The app is still going through store review, and we'd rather say that plainly than put a dead download button on this page. The store badges here will go live the moment the listings do.
